Hahas... just thinking back when i'm in malaysia during the school holidays..
Heard many sotries there and wanna share with you guys..
Yea.. be grateful..
Their School works extremely different..councillor[or pengawas/prefect in their country]does almost EVERYTHING from handphone checking to canteen.
Let me see, their school totally BAN these things
-Handphones
-Long nails
-Spiked hair
-Long fringes[like eunice's hair blocking face]
-Long hair [obviously]
My cousin said.. students are so desperate that they hide their handphones in their ah-hem[frontal part of a feminine] , below 'there' and 'behind' [boys].
And there was a case that the dictionary pages were cut out until it fit a handphone,like a casing.
So... guess how the discipline master found foud?
Everyone will need to stand in a line.
Girl check girls.
Boy check boys
[Girl councillor]Hands out TOUCH across all the girls ah-hem.
[Boy councillor]Hands out TOUCH across 'below' and 'behind'.
I mean.. like sooooooooooooooooooo uncomfortable if it was me.. so 'molested'
Bags are also searched..Hold the bag upside down and check all books.
Lets see... Hair style..
-Spiky hair will be IMMEDIATELY cut off
-Long fringes also..cut off from there and then.
Their councillor will also station in different areas.
E.g Canteen to 'get rid' of those people who ahve eat finish so other people can have seats to eat.
Entrance to help the flow of traffic of both teachers and students
BTW you can learn to ride a motorcycle at the age of 17 [you must complete sec5 b4 u determine u wanna go jc/poly or continue to study in sec6].
so the councillors will organise their parking.
Parking also have trouble =.=
there's a place specially made for motorcycle to park, and because everyone will be release together. ALMOST the same time..
So those riding motorcycle will need wait 15mins after dismissal time than they can ride their motorcycle because they do not want accidents.
So when assembly starts councillors will enclose the 'area for motorcycle parking' and open when 15mins is over.[the parking area is also shaded for convenience]
Some students want to early so home to park outside the parking area.
So teachers will purposly deflate the wheels.
They have a system to record 'points' if u disbehave [we have conduct]
So.... if you are defiant for e.g.
-Not answering a question [like what is 1+1?]
-Never do homework
-Never hand-in assignment on time
they will add points to your record..
a certain amount of points.. will get you expelled [worst case scenario]
and the points you get every year will be carried forward.. will not start from 0.
See.. singapore's system is much much better.. count yourself lucky
